The Commonwealth Utilities Corp. announced that Kagman residents should expect a short power outage on Saturday morning as the utility company installs a new power pole that would bring electricity to the construction site of Mobil Oil in Kagman.

The power outage will occur from 8am to 10pm on April 30 and will include an area from Papago to the Botanical Garden.

CUC said it scheduled the power outage on a weekend so as not to disrupt households and commercial establishments in the area during school days.

The utility company said crewmembers will connect high voltage wires to the new pole, so that electricity needs to be turned off for crew safety. CUC said it would turn the power on just as soon as crews are finished and out of danger, but no later than 10am. (PR)
