Four students are top Eucon graduates
Twelfth grader Xiao Hui Huang, 8th grader Christa Wei, 6th grader Anna Choi and K5 Madeleine Elizabeth Villagomez received their President Awards as top students during Eucon International School’s graduation ceremony held Thursday night.
Eucon’s 7th Annual Graduation Ceremony was held at the Korean Presbyterian Church of Saipan, China Town. Students from 1st grade to 12th grade were also given awards for their outstanding academic performances in the 2004-2005 school year.
Principal Award recipient for 12th grade was Cheol Su Shin, 8th grade was Alvin Lara, 6th grade was Edlyn Grace Taimanao, and K5 was Christiane Judy Wei.
Dean’s Award recipient for 12th grade was Chan Mi Kim, 8th grade was Bo Lam Kim, 6th grade was Grace Lee and Michael Sheu, and K5 was Meagan Gomes.
Eucon’s 12th grade graduates were Yi Lang Lim, Huang, Shin, and Kim. The 8th grade graduates were Hyun Jun Cho, Kim, Seiya Kishimoto, Wei, and Xu Zheng. Sixth grade graduates were Xiang Chen, Choi, Hiromasa Kawahara, Lee, Gee Hyun Lim, Joseph Nam, Sheu, Dong Hyun Shim, and Taimanao. K5 graduates were Villagomez, Wei, Gomes, Woo Jin Bark, Soon Chul Chung, Jenny Su Kim, and Ha Young Seo.
Eucon president Christian Wei also presented the school’s yearbook dedication to Ruth Boyer, whose dedication, according to Wei, never ceased for the continuous education of children.
Wei also announced to the parents and guests that an “all-new American teaching team” in the elementary level for school year 2005-2006 will help the children from 1st grade to 6th grade. He also said a proficient music teacher will join Eucon in the coming school year.
