3 charged with attempted murder

The Attorney General’s Office lodged attempted murder and other criminal charges yesterday against three men who ganged up on another man using a metal pipe and a golf club.

In a criminal information filed with the Superior Court, the AGO named the three defendants as Luo Fang, 30; Yong Luo, 32; and Sheng Sheng Wang, 31.

Deputy Attorney General Clyde Lemons Jr. said the three attempted to kill one Jun Chen last May 23.

The defendants allegedly beat up and hit the victim’s head with a pipe and golf club at the Joy Motel in Garapan. The victim sustained serious injuries.

The charges against the defendants include attempted second-degree murder, conspiracy and assault with a dangerous weapon, aggravated assault and battery, and assault and battery.
