Koreans experience Marianas at the Korea World Travel Fair
The Marianas Visitors Authority recently attended the 18th Korea World Travel Fair in Seoul, South Korea, which featured nearly 400 exhibitors from 44 countries.
This four-day exhibition attracted about 91,568 travel trade representatives and consumers.
The Marianas Booth was able to lure visitors to the booth through the games and displays from a local bead artisan. The art of bead making was made available to consumers who visited the Marianas booth.
Representatives from Aqua Resort Club Saipan, Dai-Ichi Hotel Saipan Beach, Saipan Grand Hotel, Saipan World Resort, Marianas Resort & Spa, and Hyatt Regency took part in meeting and greeting visitors at the Marianas booth.
Other popular booths included Thailand, Germany (venue for World Cup 2006), Pleasure Island, Singapore, China and Indonesia.
The MVA also held a press luncheon, with groups such as Traveltimes, Global Travel Times, Travel Information News, iTraveltimes, and Travel Journal and conducted courtesy visits with Asiana Airlines and several top travel agents who sell the Marianas. The travel agents included Focus Tour, Happy Tour, Hana Tour and Tour 2000. (PR)
