The 2005 Saipan Rotary Summer Youth Basketball League raises the curtains to its 2005 season with two games this evening at the Gilbert C. Ada Gymnasium.

This according to league official Jovie Omar, who confirmed Friday that all teams are in satisfactory status with the league in regards to all requirements, such as entrance fee, waiver forms, and age verification documents.

Having the honors of opening the 18-and-under cage league are last year’s runner-up San Antonio Sixers I and Toyota Camry, with the two beginning their push for the coveted championship crown at 5:30pm.

San Antonio and Hoops will close out opening night, with their tip off set for 7pm.

Rotary league action continues throughout the week, with another two games tomorrow, one game on Wednesday, and two games on Thursday.

Joining Sixers I, Toyota, Hoops, and San Antonio are Sixers II, Matansa Sparks, Southern Sonics, Garapan Rollers I, II, and III, Breeze, Bwibwis, and the Junior Nationals.
