There will be a power outage today, July 29, 2005, from 12:30pm to 3:30pm affecting customers hooked up to Feeder 4.

This outage will affect the following areas: Old Civil Defense Office, Mt. Tapochao Road, toward Mt. Tapochao area and partial Chalan Galaide. No traffic lights will be affected.

The Commonwealth Utilities Corp.’s Power Division said the outage is needed to replace two rotten and deteriorated power poles along Mt. Tapochao Road.

“This interruption is necessary to allow CUC linemen to work on de-energized power lines safely. The power will be turned on as soon as the linemen have completed this project,” CUC said.

CUC requests the cooperation and patience from people driving and residing in these areas while the work is completed.
