Chiefs practice set for today

The Commonwealth Football League’s Chiefs would be holding practice at 5pm today at the Hopwood Junior High School field.

The squad’s offensive team, defensive team, special teams, as well as all coaches and team officials are required to attend the practice.

The practice is in preparation for the 2005-2006 season of the local football league, which is set to kick off on Sept. 24 at either the old CPA Airport or the new digs at the Oleai Sports Complex.

In related news the CFL is looking for people interested in becoming officials and referees for the upcoming gridiron season.

CFL would also be holding a board meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 2, 6pm at the VFW Post along Beach Road, Garapan.
