Saipan Pacific Wind Ensemble looking for new members
What is that beautiful sound coming from all over the island? It is the Saipan Pacific Wind Ensemble, a local community band that boasts the talents of all ages and abilities.
The Saipan Pacific Wind Ensemble can be seen playing at American Memorial parkway on Veteran’s Day, Memorial Day, at the Flame Tree Festival, or at the Taste of the Marianas as well as the Pacific Island Club for their annual Christmas and Spring concerts. They play a wide variety of music from pop to classical, Broadway to jazz.
Do you play an instrument? Have you ever played an instrument? Would like to play an instrument? Then come join the Saipan Pacific Wind Ensemble. It doesn’t matter if you have played for years, haven’t touched your instrument for years or have just learned how to play an instrument. We will take you!
The Pacific Wind Ensemble meets on Mondays from 6pm to 8:30pm at Saipan Southern High School to practice. Don’t have an instrument? No problem. Come anyway and we will provide one for you.
