The Marianas Visitors Authority has taken an initial step with getting more of its members’ feedback on current marketing ideas for the Marianas—Saipan, Tinian, and Rota.

The MVA distributed the marketing survey to all MVA members on July 15, 2005 and have collected the surveys as members respond. The MVA will compile the data from the submitted surveys during the month of August.

“The idea behind the marketing survey was to inform our members of what travel segments we are targeting and to get feedback from them considering they too have a stake in the tourism industry,” commented Vicky Benavente, MVA managing director.

“The survey is direct and the questions enable members to provide their ideas that we may consider as we plan our future marketing activities. We are very pleased with the response and we look forward to having all of our members participate,” Benavente added. (PR)
