In response to the new water rate, thank you for letting us know in advance as to how much we will be paying for water usage.

First of all, are the people of the CNMI aware that they have been charged $6 extra for water? Please, people of CNMI, take a moment and look at your water billing and calculate what you consume. You will wonder where the $6 is coming from.

Here an example of how much water you consume: Your billing states a previous reading of 1099060, a current reading of 1109310 at 1.0 with the usage of 10250, your billing shows the amount of $26.40. Can you actually figure out how much water you consumed? And how much to pay? So, for people of the CNMI, don’t just stop here, let us join hands together and convoy to the Hill and appeal the fuel surcharge and find out where the extra $6 is coming from.

Again, it’s election year, your choice!
