Former rooms division manager Hiro Sugie has taken over as the new General Manager of Aqua Resort Club.

Sugie assumed his new post as acting general manager since Aug. 1, taking over the general management post from Ramon Cabrera. With his six years experience in the resort club, Sugie has become an expert on what he does best, which is to spoil, pamper, and indulge all the whims and wishes of hotel guests.

Sugie said he would prioritize the welfare and professional development of the hotel staff. He also said he would pick up where the former GM left off and would continue what has been started for the resort club. He said he would be more aggressive on the services the hotel offers, especially to the local community.

Sugie already has 11 years of hotel management experience. He started his career in the hotel business with Saipan Grand Hotel; five years later, he grabbed the opportunity to grow even further in the industry when he transferred to Aqua Resort Club.

He said the recent renovations and facility improvement at Aqua Resort has had a positive impact on him and his previous department, the rooms division.

Aqua Resort Club held a grand opening of the hotel after months of renovations and improvements last May.
