Norwegian Cruise Line America, which operates the cruise ships Pride of Aloha and Pride of America, is in need of more personnel and will be recruiting staff from Saipan, Tinian, Rota, and Guam this September.

In an e-mail message to the Saipan Chamber of Commerce, a copy of which was provided the Saipan Tribune, Cassandra Nichols is seeking the help of the Chamber in setting up the recruitment drive, which will happen during the week of Sept. 11, 2005.

Nichols said that NCL America will be offering various positions aboard their cruise vessels.

“We will be [on] Saipan, Tinian, and Rota for one day each and in Guam for two days,” she said.

Nichols said that NCL America operate the only U.S.-flagged cruise line in existence. “We currently have the Pride of Aloha and the Pride of America sailing a seven-day itinerary throughout the Hawaiian islands,” she said.
