Mobil Guam prexy moves to global assignment

Mobil Oil Guam Inc. recently announced the appointment of Jeff C. Borja, president and country manager, of Mobil Oil Guam Inc., Mobil Oil Micronesia, Inc. and Mobil Oil Mariana Islands Inc., to planning advisor, Global Planning, ExxonMobil Fuels Marketing Co.

Borja joined Mobil Oil Guam Inc. in 1994 as commercial sales territory manager and in 1995 was assigned to several overseas positions in the Asia Pacific region until his return to Guam in 2002 as president and country manager for the Guam region. Borja was the first local Guam hire to steward Mobil’s operations in this region.

Borja, his wife, Jennifer, and two children, Luke and Camille, will relocate to Fairfax, Virginia in August 2005.

Replacing Borja is Kamal Singh from Fiji where he was regional manager, Fiji, Mobil Oil Australia Ltd. Singh will steward Mobil’s marketing and distribution activities throughout Guam, the CNMI, and Micronesia. (PR)
