The Covenant Party’s gubernatorial team and other candidates will head to Guam over the weekend in a scheduled forum this coming Sunday at the Jimmy Dee’s Restaurant.

The candidates, led by the gubernatorial team of incumbent House Speaker Benigno Fitial and Vice Speaker Timothy Villagomez, will speak before CNMI voters residing in Guam about their platform of governance.

Covenant Party’s advertising committee chair Charles Reyes Jr. said the candidates would also explain their view on the current state of government and why they believe there should be changes in the incumbent administration.

Reyes said a question and answer forum would be part of the activity. The event, which will begin by 4pm, will provide free refreshments to guests. Reyes invited CNMI voters residing in Guam to attend the event.

“Every vote is significant,” Reyes said. “We’re not going to take any vote for granted.”
