Two suspected prostitutes and two alleged customers landed in jail after a disagreement with fees for sexual services created a commotion that caught people’s attention in Garapan early Monday morning.

An unnamed person called the Department of Public Safety to report the scene, police spokesperson Catherine Sheu said.

Responding lawmen arrived at the scene to meet the caller, who directed their attention to the four suspects. Police saw the two men run after the two suspected prostitutes.

“Through further investigation at the scene, it was learned that the two men paid the two women for sexual services, and apparently the two men were in disagreement with the two women with regards to the amount of money they had paid the two women for the services rendered to them,” Sheu said.

Police identified the two suspected prostitutes as Yan Zheng, 26, and Xiao Ling Zhang, 30. Police also caught the two alleged customers.

Sheu said the Criminal Investigation Bureau is conducting further investigation on the case, which will be forwarded to the Attorney General’s Office for review and final disposition.
