Three of the eight generators at Saipan’s primary power plant are under repair. If the weather remains cool and if customers can be part of the solution by using only one household air conditioner or a fan and conserve all other energy, CUC will do everything in its power to keep electricity on for all of the eight electrical grids or feeders. However, if the temperature rises and customers turn on more air conditioners, this will force CUC into load shedding.
