Having fun in the sun at the Pacific Islands Club this Saturday will not only be affordable but will also be a chance for entire families in the CNMI to do something good for the island’s pets.

The club is giving a 50-percent discount on its Waterpark fees to the first 200 Waterpark users just this Saturday, with proceeds from this one-day promo going directly to the Pet Assistance and Welfare Services or PAWS.

The discounted rate will bring Waterpark fees to just $10 per person.

PAWS coordinator Bobbi Grizzard said this will be a great way to spend the weekend at the Waterpark because it will assist the non-profit organization in its goals to help local pets and pet lovers.

Grizzard said the entire PAWS team is very grateful to PIC for extending its assistance once more. She said PIC has been supporting the group for several years now. “The club deserves acknowledgment for this assistance,” she said.

The PIC Waterpark will be open from 9am to 6pm this Saturday.

“We hope you will participate and have fun, visit with friends of pets, and help PAWS reach our goals of healthy and controlled pets. We appreciate your support,” Grizzard said.

PAWS, established in March, 1993, is a non-profit corporation dedicated to the health, care, welfare, and population control of cats and dogs in the CNMI and to the education of the public on animal care and rights.
