SGA-Fil-Taga Cup resumes this Sunday
The Saipan and Fil-Taga golfers associations will resume play in the SGA-FilTaga Cup this Sunday, Sept. 11, at the Kingfisher Golf Links, with tee time set for 10:30am. An awards banquet will be held later that evening from 6pm to 11:30pm at the Aqua Resort Club’s Rey Lounge. Raffle prizes will also be given away during the banquet.
NMITF Enticer on Sept. 17
The Northern Marianas Islands Triathlon Federation will hold the second event of the 2005 Enticer Series on Saturday, Sept. 17, at Pau Pau Beach in Marpi to double the distances from the first race in August.
At 8am the swimmers will take to the waters for the 400m shallow ocean swim before transitioning to the 8km bike ride and the 2km run.
The returning triathletes will get a chance to return to the competitive scene by challenging the 600m swim, 16km bike, and 4km run of the third round of Enticer fun a month later on the evening of Saturday, Oct. 15.
The Enticer/Sprint Series events are all adult races, and while entrants must be 14 years of age or older, those between the ages of 14-18 must have a signed parental consent.
The cost to participate in all of the Sprint/Enticer races is $5 for NMITF members and $10 for non-members. The cost of an annual membership is $25.

High School rocball coming soon
Action on the rocball court will soon make a return, with all the kees, goals, and xunks expected to begin hitting the stat sheets this month.
Rocball founder and coordinator of all World Organized Rocball activities James Feger said that the WOR High School League is already being organized.
All interested individuals are encourage to begin organizing teams and prepping for the start of the competition.
As in the past, no entrance fee is required.
All matches will be held at the Marianas High School Gymnasium or the school’s Green Court located just north of the gym.
