Stop the blame game
It has been a long, long time since I have written a letter to the editor. My reason for writing again is because of our continuing problems that still exist here in the CNMI. Our problems will never stop if we continue to point fingers at each other and not resolve them.
It is election season again this year 2005 and will end on Nov. 5, 2005—the day when you exercise your constitutional right to vote for whom you believe would best lead our Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands.
Please bear in mind that no one can decide for you. Only you, the pencil, and the election ballot will know and no one else. Do not be intimidated by someone or anyone because one of your family or relative is working for the CNMI government.
There are so many promises in the past political campaigns, with everyone telling that they will do this and that. Four years have passed by but until now they are still unable to rectify our problems, especially the budget for the Public School System. They make this issue so political. Politics should not be involved when they are already officially elected and certified.
Let the truth come out this election day. Exercise your right to vote and let us continue to enjoy and be merry in this beautiful paradise of our Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands.
