The Northern Marianas Junior Golf League will start its Fall Session of Program and Instructions on Oct. 3, 2005.

The Fall Session would be conducted from 4pm to 6pm at the Laolao Bay Golf Resort driving range. The Fall Session will be held for nine weeks and will end on Dec. 16, 2005.

The NMJGL will accept applications between 10am and noon this coming Saturday, Sept. 24, at the Hard Rock Café. Boys and girls between the ages of 6 and 17 years old are invited to join NMJGL’s Fall Session.

The NMJGL was established in 1997 with the help of Duty Free Shoppers Saipan, Marianas Investment, Inc., Verizon, Rotary Club of Saipan, Pacific Trading Co., Laolao Bay Golf Resort and many other corporate and individual sponsors.

The junior golf program has been a success with more than 300 children having joined the league since its inception some eight years ago.

With the enormous contribution of Laolao Bay Golf Resort to the league, the Fall Session will be exciting for beginners, intermediate, and advance students as they will have the chance to learn the sport and hone their skills under the expert tutelage of local champion golfers Jeff Taylor and Edward Manibusan.

The NMJGL’s Fall Session is offering only limited slots for interested junior golfers. To reserve a slot or to register in advance, you may call the Law Offices of Edward Manibusan at 235-6520.

The league is also accepting monetary donations. Anyone willing to donate or become a corporate sponsor, please call Manibusan at 235-6520.
