Dynasty continues weekend of winnings
The Tinian Dynasty Hotel and Casino has made the most of the recent explosion of poker across the country and on television, and they are offering another tournament tomorrow night as they host the No Limit Hold ‘em Championships.
After watching the professionals bluff, raise, and go all in on the small screen, local players with a flair for the king of card games have a chance to rub elbows on the green felt tables from behind a wall of chips across the channel tonight at 8pm.
After taking the ferry or choosing from a number of flights to Saipan’s closest neighbor in the CNMI, contestants will take their seats for the high stakes fun after paying the $110 registration, which already includes a 10 percent commission.
For those who can’t make the trip for tomorrow’s test, the Dynasty hosts satellite No-Limit Hold ‘em satellite tournaments every Friday and Saturday on non-tournament nights from 8pm to 11pm for only an $11 entry fee. The cost also includes the customary 10-percent commission.
There will even be an opportunity for those new to the game to get Poker 101 next weekend during the new format of “Sit-And-Go” No Limit Hold ‘Em designed to offer would-be players an introductory course next Friday, Oct. 21 and the following week on Oct. 28 at 8pm.
The cost to enter the world of the poker face is $55, and includes a 10 percent commission. There is still plenty more to come from the CNMI’s only casino, and information regarding the plans for New Year’s Eve will be released soon.
