Kiyu son’s funeral on Monday

The body of 21-year old Manuel Castro Villagomez is set to arrive on Sunday from California, according to the Villagomez family.

Charles V. Cepeda said Manny’s parents, Sen. Thomas “Kiyu” and Vicky Villagomez, who left Monday for Hayward, California, are arriving Sunday.

There will be a public viewing of the body at Mt. Carmel cathedral on Monday, Nov. 7.

Cepeda said the public viewing begins at about 7:30am. At 4pm, a funeral Mass will be held. The burial will follow shortly after the Mass.

Manny, the senator’s third child, died Saturday due to heart failure.

Cepeda said that rosaries are being held at an uncle’s residence in San Leandro, California.

Final viewing will be held at the Grissom’s Chapel & Mortuary on Thursday, Nov. 3, from 4pm to 8pm.

On Saipan, nightly rosary is being held at the Villagomez residence in Fina Sisu.
