A drunken teenager attacked his girlfriend with rocks at Upper MIHA Housing in Garapan, police said.

The woman suffered a 3-cm. cut on the back of her head, which required four stitches to close it up, according to detective Christopher Leon Guerrero in his report filed in Superior Court yesterday.

The suspect, 19-year-old Vincent Santer Camacho, also known as Kenji, was arrested on Saturday. He was detained for assault with a dangerous weapon, assault and battery, and disturbing the peace.

The court initially imposed a $10,000 cash bail for Camacho’s temporary liberty. A bail hearing was set yesterday afternoon.

Det. Leon Guerrero said preliminary investigation showed that the victim and Camacho were walking along the Upper MIHA Road on Nov. 13 between 4am to 5am.

The drunken Camacho repeatedly cussed at his girlfriend and asked if she wanted him to beat her up.

The defendant thrice threw rocks at his girlfriend. He did not hit the victim, police said.

Camacho’s friend tried to pacify him as the frightened woman sat in the middle of the road.

The defendant, however, came from behind and struck the girlfriend with a rock on her head.

Camacho ran away when he saw the arriving police vehicles. The bloodied victim walked to the nearby house of her sister. She was taken to the Commonwealth Health Center.
