The CNMI government has filed a deportation case against a security guard who allegedly failed to submit his application to renew his immediate relative status.

The CNMI government has filed a deportation case against a security guard who allegedly failed to submit his application to renew his immediate relative status.

Assistant Attorney General Ian Catlett said Mohammad M. Hossain, 47, has overstayed in the CNMI for one year and six months now.

Immigration investigator John Peter stated in court papers that Hossain entered the CNMI on immediate relative status.

Peter said the respondent is now over-staying because he did not submit any application to renew his IR status.

Labor records indicate that Hossain’s previous sponsor/employer was Nunita Jesusa Tudela Hossain.

Superior Court Associate Judge David A. Wiseman ordered the respondent to appear in court and explain why he should not be deported from the Commonwealth.
