FHB launches Continental OnePass® Checkcard
First Hawaiian Bank is launching a new debit card that allows consumers and businesses to earn miles on Continental Airlines.
“Because Continental has the largest number of flights out of and into this region, we wanted to give our customers on Guam and Saipan a unique product that gives all the benefits of a worldwide debit/ATM card plus the convenience of miles on Continental that don’t expire,” said Senior Vice President John Lee, the bank’s Guam-CNMI Regional Manager. “We are proud to offer OnePass® miles from Continental, the major carrier in Micronesia.
With the Continental Airlines OnePass® CheckCard, purchases come right out of your checking account, and you earn valuable miles every day—including 1,000 bonus miles with your first purchase using the card.
Features of the OnePass CheckCard include:
∑ It doubles as an ATM card, giving access to over a million ATMs worldwide;
∑ Cardholders receive 1 mile for every $2 worth of purchases;
∑ Double miles when cardholders purchase Continental Airlines tickets from Continental;
∑ Accepted at over 20 million merchant locations worldwide;
∑ Current OnePass members can add to the miles they already have;
∑ Miles earned with the card do not expire and may be used worldwide for over 650 flight destinations on Continental or its SkyTeam partners (Aeromexico, Air France, Alitalia, Delta, KLM Royal Dutch, Korean, Northwest and CSA Czech); and
∑ OnePass® Business CheckCard is a quick and easy way to pay for everyday business expenses. Free primary rental car insurance, $1,000 secondary personal effects coverage and extended warranty protection that doubles most manufacturer’s U.S. warranties.
