The Division of Environmental Quality cleanup brigade will be at it again, picking up trash at Marine Beach in Kagman on Feb 4.

“If you would like to volunteer your time to cleanup and beautify our island, please meet the DEQ representative in the bright green T-shirt on the area at around 8am,” according to a media release by the DEQ.

The brigade cleans until 10am, and breaks for drinks, and then continues if needed.

This month’s outstanding brigade members and those who have participated in at least three cleanups will receive a green brigade T-shirt and those who participated in at least 10 monthly cleanups will receive a brigade cap.

“This is a cleanup that shouldn’t be missed, so join DEQ’s cleanup brigade and pick it up,” the DEQ further said.

For more information about becoming a member please contact the DEQ office at 664-8500, or fax us at 664-8540. (PR)
