Protect your business from theft, crime

The Saipan Chamber of Commerce’s Small Business Committee will present a half-day workshop on “Protecting your Business from Theft & Crime” tomorrow, March 29, 8am to noon at Fiesta Resort & Spa’s Acuzena I and II.

“This timely workshop will give business owners and managers important information to protect themselves against internal theft and how to guard against counterfeit money or credit card and check fraud. We’ll also have a session with tips for screening for employee integrity at hiring time,” said Small Business Committee chairman Jim Arenovski,

Speakers include a representative from the FBI, an accountant, a security firm employee, an expert in the use of credit cards, Crimestoppers, an expert in personnel, and more. CNMI Attorney General Matt Gregory will make the opening remarks.

SCC members can attend for the special price of $10. “But you must reserve your spot,” the Chamber said.
