Hyatt prepares slew of activities in April
Hyatt Regency Saipan is cooking up a bunch of promotions for the month of April that is expected to further reinforce the Garapan landmark’s place as one of the trendsetters in the hospitality and tourism industry in the Commonwealth.
The Tagaman Lunch Special at Kili Café kicks off Hyatt’s promotions for the month on April 8. Hyatt assistant director of food and beverage Daryl A. Thong said they are introducing the buffet lunch in celebration of the longest triathlon event on the islands.
“The Tagaman Lunch Buffet at Kili Café offers heart-healthy items such as organic salads, juices, yogurt, fresh fruits, and one of our specialties, fajitas, which are all geared toward the health-conscious set,” he said.
Thong added that majority of the produce executive chef Gabriel Colombo will be using in their dishes and serving in their salad and fruit trays will be bought from farmers on Saipan to help the local agriculture industry.
The Tagaman Lunch Special at Kili Café will be from 11:30am to 2pm and costs $17, with children 5-12 years old getting half price.
Hyatt will kind of reprise the Tagaman Lunch Special during its Healthy Lunch Buffet on April 29, just in time for the islands’ March Against Cancer celebrations.
In between, Thong said Hyatt would hold its Admin Assistant Lunch Buffet with Fashion Show on April 20 at SandCastle.
The fashion show would have SandCastle performers sashaying down the catwalk with the latest business attire, business casual, and business Tokyo (For evening cocktails) dresses from PENA House Fashion.
Admin Assistant Lunch Buffet with Fashion Show costs $25 per person and guests have a chance to win prizes in a raffle draw held during the intermission.
Thong said reservations are recommended for the buffet and fashion show, which is being held in collaboration with SandCastle, Hardt Eye Clinic, and MARPAC.
In the run-up and the days after the event, Hyatt will celebrate Admin Assistant Week with special buffets at Kili Café and Miyako Restaurant from April 18 to 22.
The Kili Café buffet is priced at $21 while the one at Miyako will only set someone back $22. Thong said the buffets come with special daily raffles and reservations are recommended.
Hyatt will also continue with its Easter Brunch tradition on April 16 at Kili Café and Giovanni’s.
For $35, guest can partake of chef Colombo’s special Easter lunch buffet menu, which Thong assures would be nothing short of spectacular. “With our fine expertise and dedicated staff our Easter Brunch will be the best on island,” he said.
Easter Brunch will cost $35 per person and will be from 10:30am to 2pm.
All throughout the month of April, Hyatt will also be offering other promotions like its Themed Lunch at Kili Café, Frutti del Mare at Giovanni’s, and Panini Syle Sandwiches at Splash and Skipper’s Bar.
As part of its Themed Lunch promotion, Kili Café will have Oriental Noodles on Mondays, Mongolian BBQ on Tuesdays, Buona Pasta Italiana on Wednesdays, and Simply Cheese on Thursdays. The Themed Lunch is from 11:30am to 2pm and the cost is $21.
Frutti del Mare, for its part, is a four- and five-course set menu that allows Hyatt’s guests to partake of “simply the most delightful food on island.” It costs $50 and $70 and is from 6pm to 10pm.
For a mere $8-$11, guests can sample chef Colombo’s famous Panini Style Sandwiches while enjoying the sun, sand, and surf at Hyatt’s beachside property. Splash Skipper’s bar is open from 11am to 2pm.
