Live-fire training on FDM

The Emergency Management Office, in conjunction with U.S. Naval Forces Marianas, announced yesterday that the U.S. military will be conducting an aerial survey and live-fire exercises on the island of Farallon De Mendenilla.

The schedule dates and time are as follow:
April 3 – 5, from 9am to 11:59pm Live-fire training
April 6 – 7, from 9am to 11:59pm Live-fire training
April 24, from 7am to 4pm Aerial survey

The location of these activities will be on the island of Farallon De Mendenilla Training Area on a 10-nautical mile radius on all quadrants.

Due to the danger imposed by these activities, EMO is advising the public, especially fishermen, commercial pilots and marine tour operators, to take extra precautionary measures around this area during the time and dates indicated.
