HAGÅTÑA, Guam—Continental Micronesia, along with Hilton Guam Resort and Spa and the Guam Visitors Bureau, sponsored 11 media reporters from Japan to Guam on April 12 for a four-day familiarization trip.

The reporters represent five consumer media organizations in Japan: SEVEN HILLS, Hanako, DIME, Ocean Life, and Golf Try.

The airline provided complimentary airfare to promote the airline’s convenient network to Guam from Japan’s eight cities.

“Through this media trip, we expect nationwide media exposure worth more than $100,000 value. We are very excited and more than happy to support this media trip to further promote Guam as an excellent leisure destination for various segments of consumers in Japan,” said Koji Nagata, director of Corporate Communications-Asia/Pacific.

The demographic these national magazines reach range from office ladies, golfers, business professionals in their 30s, and high-end consumers in their 50s.
