Teams are forming, coaches are barking out their orders, and trainers are prepping the top competitors from Palau, Guam, the Marshalls, Nauru, Kiribati, and the four FSM island states of Chuuk, Pohnpei, Kosrae and Yap to challenge the CNMI’s finest during the 2006 Micronesian Games, but there is still one event looking for a local warrior.

With less than two months before hundreds of athletes descend upon Saipan for the quadrennial event, the hometown hosts are still seeking a representative for the Micronesian All-Around Competition.

The five-sport competition pits the finest individuals in a skill testing series of events which includes coconut tree climbing, coconut husking, spear throwing, swimming, and diving.
