Free book writing workshop

The Joeten/Kiyu Public Library and the Library Friends are sponsoring a free one-day workshop for aspiring writers, graphic artists, illustrators, translators, etc.

Workshop topics include creative writing, copyright law, how to prepare materials for printing, and how to prepare publication information for various types of books or media. Depending on the level of interest, future workshops will be organized.

The workshop will be held on May 27, from 8am to 12 noon then 1pm to 4pm, at the Joeten/Kiyu Public Library Children of Our Homeland Center.

This workshop will be funded by the Administration for Native Americans grant to The Library Friends Children of Our Homeland: Social/Cultural/Family Preservation Center Project at the Joeten/Kiyu Public Library. (PR)
