The Military and Veterans Affairs Office is inviting the public to the proclamation signing of Memorial Week scheduled tomorrow, May 23, at the Governor’s Office conference room
Gov. Benigno R. Fitial will be signing the Memorial Week Proclamation at the conference room beginning at 11am to honor members of the U.S. Armed Forces who are no longer with us.
“We will remember those who served our great nation so that we may enjoy the fruits of freedom of a democracy society,” said the press release. “We ask that all service members, veterans, family members, the local Marine Scouts, and the general public to come and join us for the signing of this proclamation.”
The nation will commemorate Memorial Day on May 29, Monday. (PR)
