The Division of Environmental Quality cleanup brigade will be at it again next month, picking up trash at Marine Beach, in the village of Kagman.

If you would like to help clean up and beautify the island, please meet the DEQ representative on June 3, Saturday, 8am.

The brigade cleans until 10am and breaks for drinks and continues, if needed. This June, outstanding brigade volunteers who participated in at least 10 monthly cleanups will receive a brigade cap and those who participated in at least three cleanups will receive a green brigade T-shirt.

This is a cleanup that shouldn’t be missed, so join DEQ’s cleanup brigade and “Pick it up!”

For more information about volunteering, contact the DEQ office at 664-8500. (PR)
