This is the final reminder for the next generation of Little Leaguers to take advantage of a huge opportunity this week as baseball guru Ray Brown of the Baseball Confederation of Oceania is taking a hands-on approach to guiding the CNMI’s up and coming ball players at the Oleai sports Complex by showing them some tricks of the trade.

The man who has spent time serving the San Diego Padres and Seattle Mariners is inviting local sluggers, fielders, and pitchers to join him on the same diamond that will welcome the best of Micronesia when he shares his knowledge with the next generation at Francisco M. Palacios Baseball Field tomorrow and Thursday.

Kids between the ages of 13 and 15 get the first chance to learn from a genuine Major League Baseball scout this morning promptly at 9am, while the older boys between 16-18 years old get their turn tomorrow, June 8, at 9am as well.

Saipan Major League Baseball Association president Rose Igitol said that the clinics are open to everyone and completely free of charge.
