The Board of Directors and Managers of the Marianas Visitors Authority met with the Rota Delegation and the Guam Visitors Bureau on Oct. 17 on Rota.

The goal of the meeting with the Rota Delegation was to engage them in discussions about how MVA could help to promote the island of Rota as a destination.

The meeting with the Guam Visitors Bureau was to discuss cross-promotional opportunities and how MVA and GVB might work together to promote travel to the respective islands. Both MVA and GVB recognize the importance of working together to promote the Marianas.

“It was very encouraging to have both the Rota Delegation and GVB on the island of Rota to discuss many important issues,” said MVA managing director Perry Tenorio. “It is vitally important that we all work together to assure that all our islands grow their arrivals as we head into the new year. Tourism continues to be everyone’s business and it’s nice to see everyone working together.” (PR)
