The Emergency Management Office advised the public yesterday to expect gusty winds and bands of showers last night until today brought about by a weak circulation.

In a special weather statement, EMO said the weak circulation is moving toward the Marianas.

“This weak circulation is broad and fairly weak with poor significant of tropical development,” EMO said.

The agency said Saipan, Tinian, and Rota residents will once again see generally fair weather condition as this system is expected to remain south of Guam.

Winds remain from the east and rainfall is set to decrease. Trade winds will continue through the week, EMO said.

Acting Gov. Timothy P. Villagomez also advised the public to anticipate a small craft and flood watch advisory for mariners and drivers on the highway and low-lying prone areas today.
