Veterans Week proclamation signing

On Nov. 11, 2006, Veterans Day, the CNMI will be honoring those who served and serving in the U.S. Armed Forces today. The community will also dedicate the new CNMI Veterans Cemetery.

On Nov. 11, 2006, Veterans Day, the CNMI will be honoring those who served and serving in the U.S. Armed Forces today. The community will also dedicate the new CNMI Veterans Cemetery.

Acting Gov. Timothy Villagomez will be signing the Veterans Week proclamation at the Governor’s Conference Room on Nov. 6, 2006 at 10:30am.

On Nov. 11, there will be a ribbon cutting ceremony for the new CNMI Veterans Cemetery at 11am in Marpi, adjacent to the Banzai Cliff.

All veterans, active and reserve military members, their families, family members of those departed Veterans, the local Marine Scouts and the public are invited to come and join us for the signing of this proclamation and celebrate Veterans Day and the ribbon cutting of the CNMI Veterans Cemetery.
