SVES prepares for ‘Canary Walkathon’ tomorrow

San Vicente Elementary School will be hosting its 1st Annual Canary Walkathon tomorrow, Nov. 18, at the SVES baseball field, from 7am to 11am.

Coordination of the event is being spearheaded by the school’s Site Community Based Management Council, which is composed of PTA officers, representatives of the school staff and other members of the San Vicente community.

Proceeds from the event are slated for the renovation of the school’s athletic facilities, including the development of a walking track within the school’s campus and a revamping of the school’s basketball court.
