Quest for Singing Santa at GIG

Another singing competition awaits Saipan’s music enthusiasts at GIG Discotheque this coming Dec. 20, 2006.

Dubbed “Quest for Singing Santa,” the contest is open to male or female, 18 years and above . Each contestant will render one Christmas song or a medley but not to exceed 5 minutes.

Contestants will be judged under the following criteria: Voice Quality, 20 percent; Stage Presence, 20 percent; Audience Impact, 15 percent; Costume and props, 20 percent; and Timing/Delivery, 25 percent.

Up for grabs are the following cash prizes: First, $200; second, $150; and third, $100. In addition to the cash prizes, the top three winners will also be given gift certificates.
