The Department of Public Safety’s DARE, JPO, and LEEP programs, in conjunction with the Public School System, will be holding the CNMI Crime Prevention Jamboree, a fun-filled event promoting drug-free and trouble-free life for the CNMI’s youth.

The event is scheduled on Dec. 22, 2006, from 3pm to 8pm at the American Memorial Park. Different activities and other events will take place all through the afternoon to the early evening.

Those willing to entertain are more than welcome to perform. If you are interested in contributing a performance or two, give Jonas Barcinas a call at 237-3661 or L.J. Castro at 483-1027. Last day for acceptance of performances is Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2006. (PR)
