Joeten Motors is offering a Red Yamaha 650 motorcycle, Star Water is giving away free water for a year and Century Tours is providing a round-trip ticket to Shanghai or Beijing to any player who shoots a hole-in-one at selected holes during the 7th Annual HANMI Charity Classic Golf Tournament this Saturday, April 5.

In addition to these prizes, JASTA and Tan Holdings Corp. are also sponsoring cash for various prizes. All in all, there are more than 75 gift prizes, and more than $8,500 in cash and trophies that are guaranteed to be won this Saturday to golfers and raffle winners.

Additionally, the winner of each flight will receive one-month free golf play courtesy of Marianas Country Club.

According to the HANMI organizing committee, every hole is now sponsored for the event, which will be held at Marianas Country Club this Saturday, April 5, 2008. Show time will be 6am with a 7:30am start for this exciting tournament

At 6pm, also on Saturday, there will be an evening banquet featuring dishes prepared by each of the HANMI member hotels at Charley’s Cabaret at Pacific Islands Club.

“This is a banquet players won’t want to miss. As is our tradition, we have more raffle prizes this year than ever, including international trips and prizes from our hotel members and a wide variety of sponsoring businesses,” said HANMI chair Lynn Knight.

The fee for this year’s tournament is now $110 per person through game day, inclusive of greens fees, prizes and the awards banquet. Additional banquet guests are $20 per person. Entry forms are available at Century Hotel and Marianas Country Club.

This fundraising event is the premier charity golf tournament of the first quarter 2008. The Hotel Association hosts this annual event to raise awareness for and about the hospitality industry within the local community.

HANMI was established on Aug. 29, 1985, to represent the hospitality industry in the CNMI. (HANMI)
