Sara Market II celebrates 18 years on Saipan
Sara Market II has served as a one-stop shop for residents of the Capital Hill area for close to a decade and in celebration of its 18th year in business, the grocery, department store, and convenient store rolled into one is offering the lowest prices on island—bar none.
Supervisor Elsa Estayan said from March 28 to April 27—a full month—Sara Market II will be offering 10-25 percent off household items and 10-30 percent off toys.
To top it all off, the store has priced all-time barbecue favorites like leg quarters, whole chicken, beef spare ribs, baby ribs, and pork riblets at rock-bottom prices.
Besides guaranteeing that customers will save an average of $2 in their purchase of frozen items, Sara Market II’s canned items are also certified super-savers with Spam products, Ox & Palm Corned Beef, Hormel Vienna Sausage, Campbell Chicken Noodle Soup, and Beach Cliff Sardines priced at well below market prices.
Staples like Royal Umbrella Rice and Diamond G Calrose Rice are also affordable.
Estayan said that Sara Market II’s paper products are also within everyone’s reach with its eight-roll Basic Bounty tissue paper and Zee Napkin (360 cnts.) on sale.
Even the store’s drinks and milk products are on sale, as cases of Coca-Cola Pepsi Cola products are below $13. For budget-conscious moms, a 25.7-oz can of Enfamil, meanwhile, is way below the $30 charged by stores at only $26.99.
Estayan said the store’s owner, Eu-Suk Ko, is committed to always give customers of Sara Market II the best products at the lowest prices on island.
She also admitted that some of the items they are putting on sale are actually being sold at-cost, but Sara Market II doesn’t mind because as the store’s owner said, “Anything to make our customers happy this April, the month of our 18th anniversary.”
Aside from the very low prices, Estayan said she is also proud to say that staff of the store are very accessible and can attend to customers’ request with a snap of a finger.
Being along the road, Sara Market II is also quite accessible to motorists and parking is not a problem with as many as 20-25 vehicles accommodated by its spacious parking lot.
Located on Capital Hill, a stone’s throw away from the CNMI Legislature, Sara Market II is open from 6:30am to 10pm daily. It has a staff of eight headed by Estayan.
Besides catering to shoppers from the area, the store has also been patronized by people coming from as far as Kagman, Dandan, San Vicente, and even Marpi.
