Trench Tech’s Giovanni “Palaxi” Sablan will have the biggest fight of his career when he takes on Brazilian black belt Eben Kaneshiro in the main event of PXC Live in Guam.

The fight was held Friday night in Guam after the weigh in at Planet Hollywood in DFS Galleria in Tumon. Results of the match were not yet available at press time.

Cuki Alvarez accompanied Sablan, who is Saipan’s top 145-lb. fighter. They left for Guam on Wednesday.

PXC Live was simultaneously aired on Guam.

Sablan’s last match was in Preba Hao X on Dec. 14 at the Guam Greyhound in Tamuning where he defeated the charismatic Ryan “The Dentist” Urquizu in the main event.

He won by a third round technical knockout due to referee stoppage to improve his mixed martial arts record to 9-4.

More importantly, Sablan bounced back after losing to John Tuck in PXC XIII: Back from the Dead also held in Guam in November.

Preba Hao, which means prove yourself, is the arena where rising young and first time MMA fighters get the chance to prove themselves that they can excel in no-holds barred matches.

Sablan was scheduled to fight twice in Guam early this year but his matches got cancelled before the event.
