Four NMI lawyers to be sworn in

On May 1, four attorneys will be admitted to the NMI Bar Association at a ceremony to be held at the Supreme Court. The attorneys, all of whom are also licensed in other jurisdictions, passed the February CNMI bar examination.

The four are:

– James W. Hofman II
Washington University School of Law
Attorney at Law, Calvo and Clark, LLP

-Braddock J. Huesman
Southern Methodist University School of Law
Assistant Attorney General, Civil Div., AGO

– Janet Han King
University of Nebraska College of Law
Assistant Public Defender, PDO

– Jeffrey L. Warfield Sr.
Tulane University Law School
Assistant Attorney General, Criminal Div., AGO

Jim Arenovski, president of the Saipan Chamber of Commerce, will be the featured guest speaker at the admissions ceremony. Maya Kara, president of the NMI Bar Association, will also be welcoming the new members of the bar.
