Aldan finishes basic training

U.S Air Force airman Candice Coronel Aldan finished basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas last Aug. 18.
Aldan went through an eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical training, and basic warfare principles and skills.
Her parents, Criselda Aldan of Mount Carmel School and Candido Aldan of the Department of Corrections said they were at first very hesitant about Aldan joining the armed forces. “She was our only girl but this is what she wants and we’re here to support her all the way,” said Criselda Aldan. “I am so proud of my daughter! She is all grown up and willing to stand up and fight for our country.”
Congrats, this is best rather than staying on Saipan with a dead end future and very low unlivable wages even if a college grad.
