Memorial Day softball fundraiser set
A softball fundraising tournament will be held during the Memorial Day weekend to help the Saipan teams that will be competing in a Guam baseball tournament mid this year.
The tournament will be held from May 23 to 26 at the Miguel Basa “Tan Ge” Pangelinan Softball Field.
The tournament, being organized by Saipan manager Chel Castro, will follow a double-elimination round format. The entrance fee is $150 per team.
The fundraising is in preparation for the 2nd Annual Saipan-Guam Baseball tournament where the CNMI will be fielding in teams in the three divisions, namely: tee ball for 5-8 year olds, Babe Ruth in the 9-10 age group the 11-12 Major League division.
