The revolving restaurant, 360, atop the Marianas Business Plaza building in Susupe, will be holding a fundraising event for KRNM tomorrow, May 29, according to station manager Carl Pogue.

He said the restaurant would give the station 20 percent of all proceeds from lunches and dinners (and drinks) sold throughout the day and night.

“We’ll get 20 percent of whatever the final numbers amount to. I’m really happy that we were able to lock down both lunches and dinners, in that it obviously increases the odds of more listeners participating—and gives them the chance to pick between enjoying the view during the day or night,” said Pogue in a mass e-mail invitation.

Pogue said he would be at the restaurant from start to finish on Thursday, to enable him to talk one-on-one with individuals about station issues.

Reservations can be made at 234-3600.

KRNM operates on the FM band at 88.1 and 89.1 and is based out of the Northern Marianas College. Individuals wishing to donate to KRNM to keep the public radio going may call Pogue at 234-5498 ext. 1520; 234-5766; or fax at 235-0915; or e-mail him at carlp@nmcnet.edu or poguecarl@yahoo.com.
