Both Cuerdo and Aranda will be attending Hopwood Junior High School next school year. Castro will be attending Mount Carmel School.
This year’s graduation theme was “Taking another step towards a successful future,” taken from a quote by Dorothy Jebehn.
The graduating class chose an R. Kelly hit, “World’s Greatest” as their theme song, which they sang during the ceremony.
“The kids were a good group all year, they were a nice group of kids,” said GES vice principal Dale Roberts. “I hope that they are able to continue their growth with whatever school they will attend next year, and that we miss them very much already.”
“They were technically advanced with doing their PowerPoint presentations, they were very, very savvy,” he added.
The top 10 students were Aranda, Cuerdo, Regina Tatiano, Paula Castro, Rachelle Manlapaz, Paul Minor, Jasseline Seman, Kevin Jiro Matsuyama, Hannah Comora, Christine Tadeo, and Mary Ann Waing.
