Learn how to make a Malibu drink with style
Last week, the 2008 Northern Marianas Bartenders Association hosted the “Malibu Rum” Challenge, where the island’s professional bartenders dueled each other on making the best cocktail they could come up with using Malibu Rum. Learn how to make some of the professional bartender’s mix using Malibu by following what the contestants used during the competition.

1 jig Malibu
1 jig Kahlua
1 jig dark rum
1/2 jig fresh lemon juice
5 jigs pineapple juice
dashes of 151 proof rum
Splash of Sprite
There are four steps to follow in order to make this drink. First, in a blender with ice cubes, combine all ingredients except Sprite. Blend well. Third, pour into a pocco grande glass. Add Sprite. Garnish with fresh strawberry or red cherry.

1 jig tequila,
1 jig Blue Curaçao,
1 jig bailey’s Irish cream,
3 jigs pineapple juice

A slice of fresh pineapple, orange and red cherry
There are four steps to follow in order to make this drink. First, combine all ingredients except Sprite. Shake well. Strain into a pocco grande glass that is almost filled with ice cubes and add a splash of Sprite. Garnish with a slice of fresh pineapple, orange and red cherry.

2 pcs sugar cubes
1 jig whipped cream and raspberry.
Blend.
